About the Role

We are hiring a

Mechanical & Electrical (MEP) Draftsman

with

3-5 years of experience

to support our Facilities Management (FM) operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves preparing accurate MEP drawings, updating as?built layouts, and assisting site teams with documentation for maintenance and upgrade works.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed

MEP drawings

including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems. Create, update, and maintain

as-built drawings

based on site verification. Support FM projects by developing drawings for

maintenance works, refurbishments, asset updates, and minor projects

. Develop coordination drawings showing proper integration between mechanical, electrical, and civil services. Conduct site visits for measurements and validation of installations. Maintain drawing registers and ensure documentation accuracy as per FM standards. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and FM site teams to collect technical inputs.

Qualifications

Diploma or ITI in

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

(or related field).

3-5 years of experience

as an MEP Draftsman (preferably in FM or MEP contracting). Strong proficiency in

AutoCAD 2D

; knowledge of Revit or 3D CAD is an advantage. Solid understanding of

MEP systems

: HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and low?current systems. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical data. Familiarity with UAE FM standards and authority requirements (ADDCD, ADM, etc.) preferred.
