We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Electrical Draftsman
with proven experience in the UAE construction industry and strong background in MEP coordination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical shop drawings, coordinating with other MEP disciplines, and supporting the project team to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and develop detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting tools
Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing teams to resolve clashes and ensure integrated MEP layouts
Review design drawings and implement necessary revisions based on site conditions or consultant comments
Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing records
Assist engineers in preparing documentation for approvals and site execution
Attend coordination meetings and site visits when required
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum
3-5 years of UAE experience
in the construction industry
Strong knowledge in
MEP coordination
and electrical systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is a plus
Familiarity with FEWA/ DEWA / ADDC / DCD/AADC standards is an advantage
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
