Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in designing Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The ideal candidate should be proficient in using

SolidWorks

and have a strong background in concept development, mechanical systems design, and detailing for custom automation or machinery solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM) from concept to manufacturing. Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings using SolidWorks. Perform calculations and analysis for mechanical components (e.g., stress, torque, material selection). Collaborate with electrical, controls, and production teams for integrated machine development. Participate in design reviews, modifications, and continuous improvement efforts. Generate Bill of Materials (BOM), assembly instructions, and support documentation. Ensure designs meet customer specifications, quality, safety, and manufacturing standards. Support machine installation, testing, and commissioning as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree

in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

2+ years of experience

in mechanical design, with a focus on Special Purpose Machines. Proficiency in

SolidWorks

(Part, Assembly, Drawing, Simulation preferred). Strong understanding of mechanical components like bearings, actuators, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation elements. Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and assembly. Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and design for manufacturability (DFM). Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,600.00 per month
