Mechanical Design Engineer (Power Plant Projects)
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical design and engineering activities for power plant projects (Thermal, Solar CSP, Biomass, Gas, or Hybrid systems).
• Develop and review mechanical design calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant international and local mechanical design standards (ASME, API, ISO, DIN).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (civil, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues during construction and commissioning phases.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working on large-scale Power Plant / Renewable Energy projects (Thermal, Solar CSP, Biomass, Gas, or Hybrid systems).
• Strong understanding of rotating equipment, thermal systems, fluid mechanics, and piping design.
• Familiarity with international and local mechanical design standards (ASME, API, ISO, DIN).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering mechanical design projects.
