Job Description

3D Modelling & Design: Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of sheet metal components and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Designing of customized products such as LV Panel, SMDB, DB, and MCC in accordance with project requirements, ensuring appropriate form of separation, IP rating compliance, and optimal space utilization. Proficient in designing busduct copper connections in accordance with site-specific requirements. Design for Fabrication: Ensure manufacturable designs aligned with CNC punching, laser cutting & CNC bending processes. Prepare fabrication drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and bill of materials (BOM). Ensure compliance with IEC 61439 standards and customer requirements. Switchgear Panel Design: Design modular / bolted panels with busbar arrangements meeting industry standards. Maintain accurate bills of materials (BOMs) and ensure proper revision control. Fabrication Knowledge: Familiarity with CNC punching, CNC bending, and other sheet metal fabrication processes. Standardization: Use standard design practices to streamline processes and maintain consistency. Optional Skills: Knowledge of modular / bolted designs of switchgear panels, busbar arrangements, stainless steel fabrication, and standardization practices. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with electrical engineers and manufacturing teams for design finalization and resolve production issues.
