Role Overview:

We are seeking a

Mechanical Engineer

to join our Abu Dhabi team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for

designing mechanical systems

including

plumbing, water supply, drainage, stormwater, HVAC, and fire life safety (FLS)

systems for various building and infrastructure projects.
The role requires a

minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

, preferably within Abu Dhabi, with a strong understanding of local authority regulations and design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and design mechanical systems such as: Plumbing and sanitary systems (water supply, drainage, stormwater). Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems in compliance with UAE Civil Defense requirements. Prepare mechanical design drawings, calculations, specifications, and BOQs using industry-standard software. Ensure designs comply with

local authority codes

(e.g., ADM, ADDC, ADCD) and international standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, architectural, and MEP teams to ensure seamless project integration. Conduct site visits for inspections and design implementation verification. Provide technical support during project execution and resolve design-related issues. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

or related field.

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience

in mechanical design for buildings and infrastructure.

Experience in Abu Dhabi

with knowledge of

local authority procedures and standards

is preferred. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), HAP, or other HVAC design tools. Strong knowledge of international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, etc.). Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
