Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical systems, assemblies, and components using CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, etc.). Apply knowledge of composite materials to optimize component strength, weight, and manufacturability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance to ensure designs meet performance and production requirements. Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation in accordance with industry standards. Perform engineering calculations and simulations (FEA, thermal, structural) to validate designs. Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support prototype development and testing activities, including data analysis and report generation. Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
