Hiring: Mechanical Design Draftsman (Plumbing & Firefighting) - Interior Fit-Out

We're looking for a

skilled Mechanical Draftsman

with expertise in

Plumbing & Firefighting systems

to join our in-house team. The role focuses on preparing

accurate, coordinated MEP drawings

and performing

basic design calculations

to support interior fit-out projects.

Responsibilities:

Capable of preparing Design/Shop Drawings for HVAC systems, including Heat Load Calculations, Equipment Selection, AC Layouts, Chilled Water Calculations, Chilled Water Layouts, ESP Calculations, Fresh Air, and Extract Air Layouts, in compliance with ASHRAE and DM standards. Capable of preparing Firefighting Design/Shop Drawings (Pipe Sizing, Sprinkler Selection, etc.) in accordance with DCD standards. Capable of preparing Plumbing Design/Shop Drawings, including Water Demand Calculations, Pump Sizing, and Water Supply and Drainage System Layouts, based on DEWA/DM standards. Capable of preparing Coordinated Ceiling Layouts (RCP Layouts). Capable of preparing Coordinated MEP Layouts.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or related engineering field. 4-5 years of UAE experience in MEP drafting for fit-out projects. Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus). Strong knowledge of plumbing and firefighting systems. Familiar with local authority requirements (DEWA, Civil Defense).
This is a

full-time, office-based role

with regular coordination across design and site teams.
