Job Accountabilities:
Individually handle the projects with Plumbing and firefighting Design Requirement.
Conceptualization of system requirement based on project nature.
Experience in knowledge of plumbing, firefighting, irrigation, fueling and medical gases systems and a successful track record of delivering detailed designs to the highest international standards.
Develop the design criteria, which would define the requirements the systems would be required to deliver.
Develop conceptual design and preliminary design documents, which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of these systems, the development of schematic Diagrams and Utility Systems Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's), and general arrangements.
Develop final design documents including specification, BOQ and final construction documents.
Have thorough knowledge of codes related to the design.
Have thorough knowledge of firefighting software program i.e. Elite, Pipe Net, CAD, Revit.
Selection of plumbing and firefighting Equipment's.
Preparation data sheet for major equipment.
Preparation of tender specification.
Preparation of Design Reports.
Inter discipline coordination.
Vendor coordination for equipment selection.
Review meeting with Clients.
Maintains effective communication with project team members, other departments, suppliers and clients.
Oversee and resolve the various design issues during all phases.
