Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed
2D and 3D mechanical drawings
using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other drafting software.
Develop and modify
HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting
system drawings based on project requirements.
Review and interpret
technical specifications, sketches, and blueprints
to create accurate drawings.
Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure drawings reflect actual site conditions.
Revise and update drawings as per
client feedback, design changes, and project requirements
.
Maintain
drawing documentation
and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
Assist in preparing
BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
and material take-offs.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree
in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum
2-5 years of experience
as a Mechanical Draftsman in a contracting company.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit (optional), and MS Office
.
Strong understanding of
mechanical systems
, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting.
Ability to
read and interpret
technical drawings and specifications.
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
