. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using BIM tools to create accurate 3D models, layouts, and shop drawings for mechanical systems related to water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop 3D mechanical models of pumping stations using Revit or similar BIM software.
Create coordinated BIM models integrating mechanical, electrical, and civil elements.
Generate detailed shop drawings, sections, and schedules from the BIM model.
Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure model accuracy.
Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts in coordination meetings.
Update and maintain BIM models as per design revisions and site feedback.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler in pumping station projects.* Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
Knowledge of mechanical systems (pumps, piping, HVAC, etc.) used in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Good understanding of BIM standards and workflows.
