Job Description
International Construction Organization with high Presence in GCC and Mainly UAE is looking for Mechanical and Electrical BIM Modelers/ Draftsman in its Business units in Dubai. BIM Modelers/Draftsman- MEP Role requirements :
- Diploma (Minimum of 2 years) in BIM Drafting ( Electrical or Mechanical).
- Certification in BIM
- Experience Not less than 5 Years in Construction Engineering in GCC.
- Interested candidates to be ready to Join Immediately.
- Create REVIT families for Electro-Mechanical Works.
- Verifies and understands information and sketches prior to starting drawings.
- Prepares preliminary drawings for the Business Development and Estimation departments.
- Attends to the instructions for drafting work by the Engineering Manager.
- Assists in the checking of compatibility between the architectural, civil, MEP, and steel/cladding drawings and designs (both in-house and third party).
- Checks drawings of subcontractors (including MEP and Civil) and coordinates with them to issue error-free drawings.
- Carries out site visits when needed.
- Ensures only \xe2\x80\x9cIssued for Construction\xe2\x80\x9d drawings are sent to the Construction department.
- Able to do the MEP coordination drawings, internal and external.
- Able to compile submissions to Consultant and Client as per project check list.
- Files finished drawings (electronically on the server as well as hard copies in the hanger) as per the Engineering department policy.
- Updates the drawings library as needed.
- Assists in the preparation of drawings for variations.
- Prepares design, shop and as built drawings.
