Job Description

Below are the mandatory requirements:

1. Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in Oil & Gas industry 2. Offshore experience preferred 3. Minimum 3 5 Shutdown experience 4. Age : 25 to 42 years

Desired Qualification:

Completion of Technical Secondary Education Certificate followed by three years formal training leading to a diploma in mechanical trades. Minimum 7-8 years' experience as Mechanical Foreman in the Petrochemical or Oil & Gas industry, preferred with offshore experience. Competencies: Good Command of English knowledge, written and spoken. Physical strength to work in hot and humid conditions (onshore and offshore)

Good Hand-Eye coordination.

Responsibilities:

1. Foreman shall coordinate with Plant Operator/Sr. Operator to release work front. 2. He shall ensure all the required work permits are available in advance. 3. Ensure all the required documents/drawings/package are available with him at site. 4. Experience and knowledge in hot bolting/ bolt tightening sequence and shall guide fabricator if required. 5. Proactive and arrange materials/ equipment's at work site in advance 6. Shall work extended hours if required as per site condition.

Report to the Site Supervisor / Project Focal point

Perform construction works in accordance with Company's HSE and Quality requirements. Attend daily & Weekly progress meetings (internal as well as with client) when required. Ensure that appropriate safety procedures are implemented during the execution of the work, which will include the review of method statements as well as witnessing at site. Supervision of construction personnel on site. Ensure the work is carried out in a professional manner and in compliance with Drawings and Procedures. Interact with Supervisor on a regular basis and for the job allocation. Participate in toolbox talks relating to mechanical construction activities. Ensure that all materials used by the contractors are in accordance with the specifications. Witness all critical activities including fit up, Welding, hydro testing etc, Carryout site surveys whenever required for assigned projects and prepare survey report. Assign responsibilities to the crew members and mentor project team. Coordinates materials and assists in the logistics, its shipment and receipt at construction site Coordinates with all projects related personnel (onshore and offshore) on day-today progress of work activities, procurement and operations to ensure timely completion of the project. Perform Task Risk Assessment with the Supervisor Maintain quality control in every area (budget, scheduling, planning, personnel performance, team dynamics) Communicate effectively with project Focal Point and other project participants to provide needed assistance and technical support Preparing as-built drawings based on the final construction at site. Provide support to Proposals and Estimation by carrying out site surveys and providing inputs. Knowledge in different types of material and its storage and fabrication requirement. Possess a basic knowledge of different types of welding techniques and electrodes used. Possess good knowledge of the piping materials (pipes, forgings, fittings, castings etc) used in the Oil & Gas Industry. Trained in the use of modern inspection methods, standards and practices (inspection and supervision techniques). Basic offshore induction and emergency training (BOSIET) (for offshore sites) Thorough knowledge of offshore safety procedures and related practices. Personal Attributes: Familiar with working practises in Oil and Gas Industry with highest attention to HSE. Knowledge to operate of machinery and handle tools required to perform work. Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure smooth operation at site. Flexible and hardworking nature whilst displaying integrity at all times.
