Site In-Charge
Knowledge & Qualification:
Site Manager must have more than 15 years of experience in Scaffolding, Insulation, Thermally sprayed Coating Services in the Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining or Power Generation industry of which at least 10 years as Engineer and 5 years in same position or equivalent.
Educational qualifications: Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering discipline or standards-based qualification
Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking English. (IELTS 8 Equivalent),
Must be able to Work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages,
Must be fully aware of safety aspects of Working in a Petrochemical industry,
Must be fully aware of quality systems and can perform regular audits to convince the COMPANY that he complies with it.
Must have previously managed major works.
Must be aware of Industry Standards, Relevant International Codes
Must have good organizational capabilities & be able to organize Site execution & Site Office staffs and manage the site organization independently,
Role & Responsibilities:
Must be able to organize the materials and equipment for his job
Must be able to plan associated activities, and acquire the resources to mobilize all required personnel and equipment on time,
Must be conversant with the Contract and the Contracting System and must have authority to act on all aspects of the Work to support the COMPANY,
Must be experienced in using CMMS to report cost and KPI performance,
Must be responsible for maintaining a competency matrix for all employees.
Qatari Driving license and defensive driving training is an added advantage
Must be aware of Industry Standards and Relevant International Codes.
Must have proven leadership qualities & be able to organise a large site maintenance team of different disciplines and manage the site organisation independently.
Must have a good skill for managing the organisation even during emergencies.
Must be accountable to manage CUI Campaign KPI\xe2\x80\x99s
The CONTRACTOR Site Manager shall have sufficient authority to act independently and authoritatively on the COMPANY related Work management issues without having to refer to the CONTRACTOR\xe2\x80\x99s off-site head office.
