We are currently recruiting for Materials Controller - 12 Months Contract Role to be based out of their office in Dubai.

Job Purpose:

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules.
• Plan and schedule material/production needs.
• Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline.
• Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
• Optimize inventory and process improvements.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
• In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Strong cadence and follow up with vendors and suppliers, improving materials availability and precision on gates allocation.
• Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills.
• Provide reports, lead meetings with multiple stakeholders, based on precise data that are also to be available on systems available to other functions.

Skills

• This role requires advanced experience in the Manufacturing & Materials Planning and Execution.
• Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university or college
• At least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Established project management skills.
• APICS CPIM \xe2\x80\x93 Certified in Planning and Inventory Management Certification is a plus.
