Title:Materials Controller

KBR employs approximately 34,000 people worldwide (including our joint ventures), with customers in more than 80 countries, and operations in 40 countries Job Requirement We are looking for a Material Controller to work on EPCM portfolio of projects under a general service agreement to be based in Basra, Iraq for 28/28 rotation. Job Responsibility and Requirement The Site Material Controller will process all contract materials and equipment for shipment by vendors. Physically receipt and locate contract materials at Supply site. Receipt materials deliveries against the relevant PO number. Ensure all PO/delivery/certification paperwork, are efficiently administered. Arrange for Goods Inward inspection through the QA/QC dept., as required. Prepare and dispatch materials for fabrication requirements. Prepare materials and equipment for transport to site, as per plan activity start dates. 'Bag and tag' materials, as required. Conduct stock checks as required. Identify surplus material upon work scope completion, and prepare for disposal. Receive, control and prepare for transport, all Subcontractors' materials. Liaise with Procurement Supervisor, to ensure full communication on priorities. Receive, control, and prepare for shipments and subsequent return to company, of all tools, consumables, PPE. Reports to the Procurement Manager or the Project Manager Works closely with Planning, Expediting & Procurement to ensure delivery milestones are on schedule Focal point for material information for Work Pack teams. Flag potential material shortages in a timely manner. Co ordinates and closes out of Over Shortage & Damage reports

Experience Required: Minimum 5-8+ years of experience required Minimum 5+ Years of experience in Oil & gas industry
