Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and submit material submittals, datasheets, and shop drawings for steel fabrication projects.
Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure timely submission of required documents.
Verify materials against project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
Maintain a comprehensive database of all submittals, approvals, and revisions.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for approvals, clarifications, and comments.
Track and monitor approval timelines to ensure project schedules are maintained.
Support QA/QC and project teams in material compliance, inspection, and documentation.
Assist in procurement by providing technical evaluation of proposed materials.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in material submittals for steel fabrication or structural steel projects.
trong understanding of steel fabrication processes, materials, and UAE construction standards.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and document management software.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred:
UAE experience in steel fabrication or structural steel projects.
