Mason Foreman
Job Description
To carry out masonry works such as blockwork, plastering, tiling, stonework, and related finishing tasks in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all types of masonry work including block, brick, stone, tile, and plaster work.
Prepare and mix mortar or cement materials as required.
Lay blocks, bricks, or stones in correct lines, levels, and plumb.
Apply plaster, screed, or other finishes to walls, floors, and ceilings.
Cut and shape materials using hand tools or power tools as needed.
Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and site instructions.
Coordinate with other trades (carpentry, steel, etc.) for smooth workflow.
Follow site safety rules, wear PPE, and maintain a clean work area.
Report material shortages or quality issues to the foreman/supervisor.
