The

Mason / Civil Works Technician

is responsible for carrying out masonry, concrete, tiling, plastering, and other general civil works required for facility maintenance and repair. The role ensures structural integrity, quality finishing, and safe execution of all civil-related activities across assigned facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform masonry works including bricklaying, blockwork, plastering, tiling, flooring, and concrete repairs. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for walls, floors, ceilings, and civil structures. Repair cracks, leaks, and damages in concrete, tiles, and plastered surfaces. Support installation and repair of ceramic tiles, marble, and granite works. Assist in waterproofing, sealing, and other protective treatments for civil structures. Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and measurements accurately. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition. Ensure all works comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures. Coordinate with supervisors and other technical staff to support facility maintenance operations.

Qualifications & Skills

Technical Certificate / ITI / Diploma in Civil Works, Masonry, or related field. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

as a Mason or Civil Works Technician, preferably within facility management or maintenance services in the UAE. Skilled in concrete works, plastering, tiling, blockwork, and surface finishing. Ability to use masonry and civil work tools and equipment effectively. Knowledge of different construction materials and their applications. Good communication skills in English. Strong focus on craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork.

Working Conditions

On-site role in Abu Dhabi facilities. Requires flexibility for shift work, overtime, and emergency call-outs. * Physical ability to handle heavy materials, work at heights, and perform labor-intensive tasks.
