Civil Maintenance Engineer - ADNOC Group - Abu Dhabi, UAE
Position Overview
ADNOC Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Maintenance Engineer to supervise and manage all civil maintenance activities for ADNOC-owned properties, including residential and VIP villas, leased facilities, and corporate buildings within Abu Dhabi City and Ruwais City. The role involves overseeing preventive maintenance, ensuring service quality, optimizing resources, and supporting ongoing and new projects in coordination with Civil Projects and Engineering Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical guidance for civil maintenance activities across ADNOC properties in Abu Dhabi and Ruwais City
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all civil works with monthly and annual schedules
• Review maintenance complaints, analyze causes, and recommend appropriate corrective actions with technical documentation
• Prepare maintenance tenders and contracts, evaluate contractor performance, and ensure compliance with KPIs and SLAs
• Oversee daily civil maintenance operations and emergency response activities to maintain building functionality and safety
• Coordinate with Project Management, Civil Projects, and Engineering Services departments on new and ongoing projects
• Administer PPM plans, risk assessments, and method statements to ensure safe and quality maintenance operations
• Participate in inspections, commissioning, and handover of new facilities and modifications
• Ensure adherence to quality management systems and safety standards as per ADNOC IMS procedures
• Support sustainability initiatives through water and energy-saving maintenance practices, including LEED O&M compliance
• Liaise with HSE departments to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement mitigation measures

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of experience in design, construction, and maintenance of multi-storey buildings within large organizations
• Strong knowledge of civil maintenance, project coordination, and construction management
• Experience in contract administration, budgeting, and inventory control
• Familiarity with quality systems, IMS procedures, and HSE standards
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• PMP or CFM certification preferred
