Amazon Payment Services (APS) is seeking looking for an ambitious marketing specialist to help execute and manage operational tasks of our marketing initiatives. You will focus on supporting the execution, of assigned marketing campaigns, manage the intake and scheduling of email campaigns, processing marketing vendor activities and assist in creation and update of reports. APS is a payment processing service in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region with a mission to empower businesses with simple, affordable, and trusted online payment experiences.
To be successful as a marketing specialist, you must be highly self-motivated, proactive, and have a drive to learn and readily take on tasks in order to execute successful marketing campaigns. It is all hands-on board for the APS Marketing team and we are looking for someone who is able to deliver on different tasks across functional stakeholders.
In this role, you will be a part of the APS MENA marketing team and work on projects across B2B and B2C marketing. You will leverage your strong collaboration skills and can-do attitude to help us on our objectives to drive customer awareness, acquisition and growth in our target markets. The candidate will interact with cross functional stakeholders, including the APS business, product, and partnership teams.
Work is mainly operational, you will be responsible to deliver high quality outputs on tasks assigned within timelines and have an impact on our participation in events, campaigns and product marketing campaigns. As an executional marketer, you stay connected to the details, and collaborate closely with the product and sales teams.
The ideal candidate has 1+ years of hands-on experience in working on customer facing operational tasks or marketing activities. They will also enjoy working on physical, virtual and hybrid event programs with excellent event management skills. They will be organized, detail-oriented and adept at working with stakeholders from across the business, comfortable managing multiple priorities whilst dealing with ambiguity.



Key job responsibilities
  • Assist in operational marketing tasks such as request intakes, transactional mail campaigns, setting and updating product asset library and updating website content
  • Assist in the definition and creation of campaign timelines and goals, while keeping customer and stakeholder needs in mind
  • Coordinate with agencies and teams to support execution of events and marketing campaigns
  • Manage and contribute to production and execution of events that are online and /or offline
  • Collate and distribute regular pre- and post- event/campaign status reports/docs
  • Experience of planning and executing impactful events, evaluating event proposals and managing event agencies.
  • Manage weekly intakes and updates for product marketing deliverables, follow up with internal teams to ensure on time campaign asset delivery

  • Experience in customer facing roles and familiarity with productivity tools
  • Digital native with good knowledge of Social Media and digital communication platforms
