Amazon Payment Services (APS) is seeking a talented, self-directed Marketing Manager to generate local customer awareness and adoption of APS's services and solutions through high-quality, data-driven marketing initiatives. APS is a payment processing service in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region with a mission to empower businesses with simple, affordable, and trusted online payment experiences.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the APS MENA marketing team reporting into the Head of B2B Marketing, APS, MENA. You will leverage your digital marketing expertise and strong collaboration skills to drive customer awareness, acquisition and growth in our target markets. The candidate will work closely with cross functional stakeholders, including the APS key business, product, and partnership teams.
Work is both strategic and tactical, you will be responsible to deliver high performing cross-channel marketing campaigns, evaluate and execute high impact events and develop and implement innovative new ways to improve customer acquisition across the marketing funnel. As an experienced, executional marketer, you stay connected to the details, continually test approaches based on data-driven insights and collaborate closely with the product and sales teams.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns for payment services or digital businesses or ecommerce space. They will also enjoy working on physical, virtual and hybrid event programs with excellent event management skills. This role will require a strong understanding of growth marketing, performance marketing and experience of working in the regional landscape. They will be organized, detail-oriented and adept at working with stakeholders from across the business, comfortable managing multiple priorities whilst dealing with ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities

  • Customer acquisition and retention activities through growth marketing strategies
  • Optimize the marketing funnel to drive key performance indicators including MQL, CPA and Website visits per channel
  • Plan and execute impactful customer communication campaigns (Email, Digital, Traditional) by understanding their needs.
  • Develop and review strategies and tactical measures for acquisition channels alongside performance monitoring.
  • Digital marketing and lead generation activities in partnership with cross-functional internal stakeholders.
  • Experience of planning and executing impactful events, evaluating event proposals and managing event agencies.
  • Contribute and influence the innovation roadmap for digital channel technologies, functionality, and platforms that deliver against the overall business objectives and strategies
  • Utilize new tools and platforms to foster better customer experiences, and make continuous improvements based on data and insights
  • Identify and share best practices for audience targeting
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 5+ years of B2B and growth marketing experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in using performance tracking tools and analyzing to build insights and action points
  • Experience in planning, delivering and optimizing paid campaigns
  • Strong event and project management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in marketing roles in the MENA region
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Arabic
  • Track record of delivering growth for sales through marketing campaigns
