About the role
  • Implement the school content strategy and develop an ongoing pipeline of content that can be used year-round to inspire, engage and inform all relevant internal and external stakeholders including parents, students, staff and alumni.
  • Execute the school content strategy across all school communication channels including News & Blogs and social media.
  • Build the school online community through social media, driving both followers and engagement (shares and comments).
  • Ensure that all current parents are kept up to date on school news and information.
  • Collaborate with the Publications & Marketing officer to develop the Photography and videography repository for the school, ensuring the highest standards are adhered to in line with global guidelines and school aesthetic quality.
  • Provide appropriate coaching and best practice sharing to other members of the MAC and wider school team.
  • Take a proactive approach to personal development planning using company toolkits and procedures as appropriate.
About you

To be considered for this position, you must have:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree (desirable)
  • Minimum 2 years working in an English copywriting, journalism or related discipline (desirable)
  • Good cross-cultural, interpersonal & communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures
  • Proven teamwork and negotiation skills
  • Experience of writing across a diverse range of on- and off-line media and an understanding of how to optimize content for each
  • Experience of contributing to and managing all social media platforms
  • Photographic and videography skills
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good copywriting skills with excellent written English
