We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Co-founder
to join our team at MenteeGuru. As the Marketing Co-founder, you will
play a pivotal role in driving the marketing strategy and execution to
accelerate the growth and success of our platform. You will collaborate
closely with the founder to shape the brand identity, create compelling
marketing campaigns, and acquire a substantial user base.

Tasks

Develop Marketing Strategy:

• Collaborate with the founder to define the overall marketing strategy and objectives.
• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify target audiences, key messages, and positioning strategies.
• Develop a comprehensive marketing plan that encompasses brand awareness, user acquisition, and retention strategies.

Branding and Messaging:

• Work closely with the founder to define the brand identity, voice, and messaging that resonates with our target audience.
• Ensure consistent brand representation across all marketing channels and materials.
• Craft compelling and persuasive marketing messages that effectively communicate the value proposition of MenteeGuru.

Digital Marketing and Advertising:

• Lead the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and paid advertising.
• Optimize campaigns to drive user acquisition, increase engagement, and maximize conversion rates.
• Analyze campaign performance using data and analytics to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve marketing efforts.

Content Strategy and Creation:

• Create a content strategy that aligns with the brand voice and engages the target audience.
• Develop high-quality and engaging content, including blog posts, social media content, videos, and other forms of multimedia.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to curate and amplify user-generated content.

Partnerships and Influencer Marketing:

• Identify strategic partnership opportunities with relevant organizations, influencers, and thought leaders.
• Manage relationships with partners and influencers, leveraging their networks and expertise to increase brand visibility and reach.
• Negotiate partnership agreements and monitor their effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive user acquisition and growth in a startup or similar environment.
• Extensive experience in digital marketing, including social media marketing, content marketing, SEO, and paid advertising.
• Strong knowledge of market research, audience segmentation, and competitive analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive marketing messages.
• Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools and platforms to measure and optimize campaign performance.
• Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative and effective marketing initiatives.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for mentoring and personal development.

Benefits

This position is unpaid, and compensation will be provided in the form
of equity in MenteeGuru. The specific equity terms and structure will be discussed and agreed upon with the selected candidate.
