Job Description

For our entity in Casablanca - Morocco, we are looking for a Market Development Manager to join our Agro Sales team in Morocco (North East Region). He / she will contribute to developing and growing market share for crop protection products in the region. As part of the strategy we would like to increase our interaction with farmers and stakeholders to enable us to grow the business.

Role Summary: Increase footprint at medium & large-scale farmers level Develop BASF solutions to indirect customers Follow up Competition activities at famers' level Create new customers to increase BASF Market Share in the region Tasks and Activities: Active participation in achieving targets with Sales team. Active participation in developing & Implementing commercial approaches concepts for Farmers (Loyalty programs, Trade deals,...) and identify the main influencers. Enhance the business development of the BASF innovative solutions Enrich and update the database of big farmers in Morocco Identify & understand the real needs of Big /Medium Farmers segment to propose the appropriate BASF solutions & support Set up Platform demo trials to promote BASF products Set up targeted visit plan by agricultural campaign in coordination with National Sales manager Organize technical training for the technical staff of the Big Farmers. Conduct competition survey & feed marketing department with data about the market Actively support implementation of digital tools in coordination with marketing team Collect in collaboration with communication team all the material (pictures, testimonials, videos,...) needed to promote the BASF products Increase number of customers among big farmers, increase our Share of wallet (SOW) with existing customers Prepare & implement an effective launch plan for the new products in coordination with Marketing team Actively representing BASF's interests, embodying, and communicating the corporate values and guiding principles of BASF Group Contributing toward maintaining the long-term competitiveness of the BASF Group Respect compliant business practices and BASF rules Report monthly activities & target achievements to Sales Manager. Prepare ad-hoc reporting on demand of management. What we expect: Qualification & Experience: Sales Experience for minimum +5 years Agronomic Engineer Background Strong market orientation Strong knowledge about the crop protection and CPP Moroccan Market Fluent in Arabic and French with a business English level Proficiency level in Excel and powerPoint Skills: Strong / Clear communicator with verbal & written command Excellent customer service & relational skills Good technical knowledge, capabilities to convince & to influence customer decision.
