Overview of the role:

• Boats / Marine Engines overhauling, trouble shooting and services
• Assistance on engines installation project work on site

What you will do:

• Repair and service of Marine engines as per dealer/distributor standards and within stipulated time
• Marine engine installation and commissioning onsite
• Adhering strictly to technical specifications as laid down by manufacturer, or as instructed by work in charge
• Should be able to read and follow the electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Usage of workshop service manuals and manufacturers software tool
• Ability to perform accurate diagnosis and repair procedures.
• Give the proper report with required spare parts to carry out the job
• Ready to work on customer site with proper safety precautions

Required skills to be successful:

• Should have electromechanical skills
• 5 years hands on experience in diagnosis, repair, and service of marine products
• Should be strong team player
• Strong communication and interpersonal skill
• Ability to understand English as the medium of communication

About the team:

Working in a fast-paced, diverse team and reporting to the Service Manager.

What equips you for the role:

• 5 years in Marine inboard diesel engines & Gear box (Mechanical & Electronic)
• Preferred experience on Yanmar engines
• Industrial Training certificate or Diploma in mechanical
