Job Description
- Inspect, repair, and perform maintenance on boats and marine engines
- Test run repaired engines to ensure they are functioning properly
- Keep records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Assist customers with troubleshooting issues they are having with their boat or engine
- Order parts as needed for repairs
- Perform winterization and storage procedures on boats
- Clean and polish the exterior of boats
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols when working with tools and chemicals
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Be available to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Use winches to bring boats out of the water
- Test marine engines and electrical systems to ensure they\xe2\x80\x99re working properly
- Carry out various repair and maintenance tasks as dictated by the needs of the vessel
- Answer our clients\xe2\x80\x99 questions about maintaining their boats
- Repair faulty and malfunctioning engine components
- Fill out accurate service records and repair documents
- Performing maintenance on engines, auxiliary equipment, and machinery
- Performing repairs on damaged equipment
- Recording information about fuel usage, oil changes, and other maintenance activities to ensure that equipment is functioning properly
- Inspecting equipment to identify malfunctions or other problems
- Cleaning boats and equipment to prevent corrosion or other damage
- Maintaining equipment inventories, ordering parts, and tracking repairs
- Performing routine maintenance on marine vessels such as cleaning, painting, and repairing hulls
- Performing safety inspections to ensure that equipment is in good working order and meets regulatory requirements
- Repairing engines, motors, pumps, valves, pipes, electrical wiring, and other components of boats or ships
- Fujairah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Diploma (Preferred)
- GCC: 3 years (Preferred)
- Marine mechanics: 3 years (Preferred)
- ENGLISH,HINDI (Preferred)
