Job Description

Our Yacht & Boat company is looking for an engine operator. These roles are ideal for someone who is very solution-oriented, able to troubleshoot everything onboard while operating with the utmost flexibility, and who can maintain the mechanical and electrical operations of the yachts & boats. Responsibilities:

• Daily maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on board the yacht
• Maintain the engine condition and equipment such as range markers, fire extinguishers, boat fenders, lines, pumps, and fittings.
• Maintenance of the yacht\'s main engines and engine room systems.
• Monitoring engine, machinery, and equipment indicators when the yacht is underway.
• Implementing good safety practices.
• Maintaining inventory of all parts.
• Cleanliness and maintenance in the engine room.
• Change the oil and check fluids on yachts.
• Carry out other general labor.
• Guide boats using engine throttles and steering mechanisms.
• Traveling to marina or dock where the vessel is located.
• Carrying out services and minor repairs on outboard, inboard, and yachts engines.
• Conducting plumbing and intake repairs.
• Replacing broken or worn-out engine parts.
• Repairing faulty hydraulic and steering systems.
• Conducting electrical AC system maintenance.
• Completing service records and repair documents.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a marine mechanic.
• Knowledge of marine engine and electrical auxiliary systems.
• High-level engine operating skills.
• Knowledge of marine hydraulic systems and related parts.
• Ability to work at sea.
• Knowledge of boat steering systems.
