Job Description
-Detailed understanding of 2- and 4-stroke petrol internal combustion boat engine systems: lubrication system, cooling system, fuel system, ignition system, electrical system, hydraulic system, gear case(transmission) knowledge -Should be able to perform marine engine installation: rigging, electrical, gauges, accessories, etc. -Should know how to use: normal tools, maintenance tools, repair and special tools, diagnostic equipment -Should be able to overhaul engine and transmission following Service manual and Factory recommendations including but not limited to: bearing selection, valve lash adjustments, timing adjustments, torqueing, etc. -Ability to read and follow Service Manuals -Must be able to work with Computer Diagnostic System (any brand) -Should be able to work independently and in the team -Should be able to train and supervise junior mechanics -English level: read, write, speak including technical literature(manuals) and diagnostic software -Minimum 3 years of experience as marine mechanic (inboard, outboard, petrol or diesel) -Experience with any kind of outboard engines is a benefit (Mercury, etc.) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
