Position Overview
AECOM is seeking an experienced Marine Engineering Manager to lead and manage complex marine and coastal infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. This role involves technical leadership, people management, and independent decision-making on multidisciplinary marine engineering assignments. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a technical team of engineers and technicians delivering marine engineering works
• Interpret, organize, coordinate, and execute complex technical assignments with minimal supervision
• Plan and develop engineering solutions for unique and technically challenging marine projects
• Oversee marine works including dredging, reclamation, quay walls, jetties, marine structures, and beaches
• Act independently on technical and contractual matters related to marine engineering
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering inputs across projects
• Maintain liaison with internal teams, clients, contractors, and external stakeholders
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet project scope, quality, schedule, and contractual requirements
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and performance management for team members
• Support project planning, execution strategies, and risk management initiatives

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Extensive progressive experience in marine and coastal engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of marine construction methodologies and materials
• Proven leadership and people management experience
• Strong contractual and commercial understanding
• GCC experience preferred, particularly in Abu Dhabi
• Ability to manage complex technical challenges independently
