Marine Civil Director
PURPOSE:
This role is critical to the success of our marine civil projects and related operations. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in project, contracts management and operational leadership within the marine civil construction sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leading the Projects Department to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution of marine civil works.
Formulating and implementing operational strategies aligned with the company's overarching vision and strategic objectives.
Overseeing departmental productivity, resource planning, and performance management.
Providing strategic leadership to Project and Operations Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all operational activities.
Establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders.
Supporting talent development initiatives and contributing to succession planning within the department.
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate must have 15 to 20 years of strong project management experience.
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
PMP certification as an asset.
