The Role

Estimator - Marine Main Contracting Salary 25-30,000 AED Per Month Plus Flights, Medical & Gratuity Track record in the Middle East handling Marine Tenders ? Have you BID & priced rock revetments, quay walls, off shore piles & bulk earthworks. Leading Dubai Based Marine & Civil Contractor is seeking a Marine Estimator to work in the Pre-Construction team in the Head Office which is based walking distance from Mall of the Emirates & the Metro Station. Working alongside Project Managers Procurement, Planning & the supply chain to produce robust and technically compliant Marine Bids. This group has a strength across complex and technical marine & civil projects with 26 Years delivering such projects. This role offers stability, career growth in what is a family friendly location of Dubai. 3 Marine projects tendered & delivered in the past few Years 1). Project is an extension of the waterfront Reclamation of 155,000 Square meter peninsula, encapsulated in a 2.0 KM breakwater. To have a multi purpose development along with a 120 berth Marina. The works involve: Dredging from Borrow Areas, Reclamation, Soil Improvement, Breakwater revetment and Shore Protection works, Beach replenishment, and Groynes Construction, Construction of 1,300 m Block Quay Wall 2). Project involved - 6 Million Tons of Rock Revetment, 9 Million Cubic Meters of Dredged Material Over 1 Million sq.m of reclaimed land. Works included demolition and removal of existing three breakwaters of various depths. 3). Project was a design and build of a Steel platform 11,250 Square meters to be installed on 95 steel tubular piles to create a Deck for an iconic Hotel & Leisure Complex. Duties Tender evaluation Collaboration with the team and supply chain Develop estimates , take offs & build tender price Present to the management team Ensure the bid is compliant



Requirements

Following is crucial Clear Estimation experience handling Marine & Offshore construction tenders - similar to projects listed Strong communication skills demonstrated from first application Degree Educated - Civil Engineering Capable of pricing work from "First Principles " Technically able to pull apart a project and look at all sequencing and pricing elements to seek an edge and commercial strength for tendering 5 Years Post Graduate with 2 Years Minimum Pricing Strong technical awareness and understanding of the clients, rules, regulations and supply chain in the UAE Able to start before the 1st of October absolute latest Offer for the Right Candidate Lump Sum Salary Range is 25-30,000 AED Per Month All business travel paid Family Flights, Medical & Life-cover 5 day working week with office hrs of 9am to 6pm If you're interested to hear more please send a word formatted.
