As a Manufacturing Project Engineer, you will be responsible to lead and manage technical improvement projects that help the plant to industrialize new products, improve the process and reduce work order variance.
You will be also responsible Mfg engineer duties by developing solutions associated with the manufacturing processes to obtain high-quality and economically competitive products. Your primary focus is to turn raw material into the desired product in the most cost-effective and efficient way possible. You will lead forward the technical advancement of the Plant by innovating processes, analyzing costs, and embracing new technologies in production. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:
As a Manufacturing Project Engineer, you will be responsible to lead and manage technical improvement projects that help the plant to industrialize new products, improve the process and reduce work order variance.

You will lead forward the technical advancement of the Plant by innovating processes, analyzing costs, and embracing new technologies in production. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:
- Lead and Project Manage ( Scope, Budget, Timeline and Cross-Functional Team management)
- Create manufacturing routers by determining the safest and efficient sequence of machining, workflow and establishing methods to maximize the resources utilization.
- Work Closely with CNC Programmers to select machines, tooling and cutting parameters to achieve best outcome for a manufactured product.
- Review product drawing and address the needs for product line engineers to industrialize new parts, machining capability and derive standard cost.
- Support quality in identifying the quality control processes, acceptance criteria, root cause analyses for defects and provide counter measures.
- Liaise with Purchasing team for raw material specs, vendors capability assessments and provide technical comparisons for outsourcing quotes.
- Derive standard costs per part, analyze work order variance, decompose reasons for unfavourability, summarize information and trends
- Initiate and manage projects (Scope, timeline, and cost) for new part industrialization, cost reduction and improvement projects.
- Maintain awareness of start-of-the-art technology and the applicability of how it can be leveraged to improve the Plant competitive position (Digital, Machinery and Heat Treatment processes)
- Update Shop floor layout and create 3d modelling and design fixtures whenever needed
- Technical Skills: - Knowledge in CNC Machining (Multi axis and related tooling selection, turning and milling) and Heat Treatment (Welding, Hardfacing and Laser Cladding)
- Engineering Skills: Excellent in engineering skills will help in design special tooling or fixtures
- Problem Solving Skills: - Required to solve both technical and operations problems in a clear and methodological way that get results.
- Leadership , Team Change Management, and ability to learn train others.
- Communication : Must be able to communicate ideas and resolve team disagreement effectively
- Stamina: - Ability to switch work context rapidly from shopfloor to office and workshops.
- Conceptual Skills: - Process Improvement, Verbal Communication, Functional and Technical Skills, Tooling, Coordination, Attention to Detail and Judgment
- Mechanical / Industrial bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 8 to 10 years of experience
- Masters degree is a plus
- Manufacturing Environment: Quality, Technology, Production, Product Engineering, or R&D.
- Familiar with CNC machining, Rotatory Shoulder Connections, Tooling, Inserts, Gauges, Product Drawings, Excel Power Query Pivot Tables, Solid Works/ AutoCAD, JDE, Hubble.
- Six Sigma green belt
- Project Management Certificate
