We are looking for a Senior Aircraft Manufacturing Process Engineerfor a permanent employment with a cutting-edge civil and military aircraft manufacturer based in Abu Dhabi. JOB DESCRIPTION : Reporting to Aircraft Production Manager, the Senior Aircraft Manufacturing Process Engineer will be in charge of:
- Oversees the development of new processes, methods, and production controls.
- Coach production and engineering teams in problem solving
- Participate in the new Aircraft development projects. Interact with Design Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure design for manufacturability. Participates in design review process.
- Develops plan to improve industrial efforts (layouts, capacity assessments, process capability).
- Installs new equipment and ensures that it operates correctly; trains others to operate new machinery. Prepares operations manual for new or existing equipment.
- Maintains knowledge of new and developing manufacturing technology, equipment, and applications; applies this knowledge to recommend and implement new technology and processes.
- Have a safety-first mind-set and ensure compliance with HSEpolicies and standards.
- Maintain and develop positive, team relationships with internal and external customers, as well as co-workers
- BEng in Aerospace or Master of Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Aeronautics Manufacturing Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess problems or issues with manufacturing equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of production principles and techniques.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent presentation and communication capabilities in English
- Interface with client, company higher management, suppliers
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with multicultural team
