Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and operate Manual controlled machine to manufacture components to tight tolerances and deadlines. Verify machine setup regarding tooling and process to produce components to the required standards and specifications. Install, align and secure tooling, attachments and parts on machine and assemble cutting tools in tool holders. Monitor spindle position/cutting depth/speed/feed/coolant flow to detect work defects or machine malfunctions. Carry out in process dimensional inspections and measurements using a wide range of measuring tools. Enter commands or manually adjust machine settings to correct malfunctions or out of tolerance machining. Ensure that all job-related paperwork and technical reports are accurately completed and submitted. Comply with all company QHSE policies, practices and procedures. Contribute to the team ethic and perform other reasonable duties as required in support of the business.

Skills and Qualifications:

ITI or NCTVT or Diploma. 5-7 years of hands-on experience in operating small to heavy duty Lathe Machine. Should exposed to components of heavy industries. Exposure of machining components of API 6A, 16A, 7-1, 5-CT is added advantage. Apart from general turning operation, should capable to perform threading operations of various standards. Able to read & interpret drawing. Knowledge & handling of various measuring instruments to adhere stringent dimensional tolerance.
