Key Responsibilities:
Translate technical materials, and reports from Mandarin to English and vice versa.
Interpret during meetings, site visits, or video/phone calls between Mandarin and English-speaking parties.
Ensure translations are culturally and contextually appropriate while maintaining accuracy and tone.
Assist Chinese-speaking clients, partners, or employees in understanding UAE regulations, procedures, and documentation.
Collaborate with various departments to support international business operations and communications.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Proofread and edit translations to ensure clarity and quality.
Provide administrative support, if required, for document filing, communication coordination, and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Languages, Translation, Linguistics, or related field.
Proven experience (2-4 years minimum) as a professional Mandarin-English translator/interpreter.
Strong command of both Mandarin (Simplified/Traditional) and English - written and spoken.
Industry-specific experience (e.g., construction, engineering) is a
plus
.
