Job Description
Job Summary
This role will support the establishment and embedding of the TELLAL Institute in the provision and development of pre-service and in-service teacher training for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
To manage the following work streams:
Pre-service Initial Teacher Training - to lead on the design and delivery of Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Initial Teacher Training and Apprenticeship Teacher Training Routes. In-service Teacher Training - to be the key driver in TELLAL to support the promotion and embedding of best practices at teacher, school and at whole group level.
Required Skills
- Have specialist knowledge and understanding in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (including UAE context)
- Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in education including an understanding of the UAE context
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience with adult training and qualifications
- A proven track record and successful training and teaching experience in the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities sector
