With the continuous business growth and expansion of Connor and its clients, we are looking for a Consultant to help us further build our capabilities and manage global client projects. In this position, you will advise and assist our clients on various Software Asset Management related activities with the support of Regional Seniors, and Managers. This role is involved with a wide range of compliance-related projects, including audit execution, data analytics, process improvement, and license optimization. We trust our Consultants to always perform at a high level of quality and professionalism.






Main Responsibilities:




Manage and perform all facets of the engagement for existing clients: engagement planning, execution, and reporting activities, which includes data analytics, Software licensee/client interviews, and preparation of client deliverables. Interact with cross-functional teams at clients/software licensees and manage multiple projects across multiple clients simultaneously. Execute and deliver all Software Asset Management Licensing Professional tasks according to the requirements of all assigned client engagements. Research and understand different software publisher's product use rights, license entitlements, and contractual entitlements for software products and publishers. Manage engagement KPIs, including deadlines and project milestones. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through quality execution of reviews and timely communication. Stay current with the trends and best practices in the relevant industries and compliance auditing.
Perform extensive Excel analysis as part of audit execution, internal client initiatives, and other services.



Requirements



Experience, Skills, and Characteristics




SAM Professional with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in: + Software Asset Management
+ License compliance management
+ Software Rationalization
+ Contract Optimization
+ ISO 19770 process
+ Software Renewals
+ Stake holder's management
+ Software Audit (Internal and External)
+ Open-source/freeware Software's Management
+ ELP reports creation.
Working knowledge of desktop based publisher (Microsoft, Adobe) and any server based publisher licensing knowledge (Microsoft, Oracle, Redhat, VMWare, IBM) is preferred Basic scripting knowledge is an advantage Tool Skill set: Snow License manager, Flexera (Operation Knowledge) Academic Background: B.Tech / M.Tech/ MCA/ MBA/BA/BS in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems Administration, Engineering, or related field Strong written and verbal presentation skills including the ability to translate technical information to various technical and non-technical audiences. Self-driven, highly motivated, and able to work well independently and in team environments. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills. Highly organized, methodical, and meticulous attention to detail. Candidate should have end to end skills in preparing publisher ELPs Resource should have depth knowledge of licensing to identify areas of cost optimization and cost reduction Willing to learn and be trained Basic project management skills Ability to work in a multi-cultural global team. 5-6 years of experience in Professional Services or IT organizations (added advantage).
