This position will play a pivotal role in design briefings, approvals, and site oversight to ensure stores open on time and exceed expectations in design quality and functionality. The successful candidate will support the design evolution of MAF shopping malls by integrating market trends and maintaining high design integrity.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Retail Interior Design (RID) criteria to reflect evolving consumer expectations and support asset brand positioning
• Guide tenants through the design process, from initial brief to detailed design approval and fit-out, while ensuring compliance with RID guidelines
• Provide solutions that maximize visual impact and operational efficiency, with a focus on customer experience and stakeholder benefit
• Attend design forums, share feedback, and facilitate collaboration across MAF mall teams and tenant design partners
• Manage and track tenant progress using CRM systems and weekly project updates to ensure design milestones are met and risks of rent loss are minimized
• Conduct Green Star assessments to promote sustainable and compliant design practices
• Offer design support to mall operational teams and foster positive relationships with tenants, regulatory authorities, and internal departments

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in retail design, F&B, or retail brand design management
• Experience in a creative agency, in-house design studio, or shopping mall design management is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong emotional intelligence and observational acumen for balancing creative and commercial objectives
