Job Description

Managerial Responsibilities -Accomplishing department objectives by managing staff members reporting to him -Planning initiatives related to his areas - social media and public relations -Ensuring healthy and professional work environment within department to increase productivity level -Coaching and disciplining employees within the areas of social media and public relations -Establishing processes and policies and procedures to ensure business efficiency Core Responsibilities -Creating and managing roadmap ensuring it is in place and moving as per plan -Managing all team member activities and initiatives ensuring they are in line with roadmap and launched on time without delays -Liaising between team members activities, procurement process, and budget control -Managing social media channels by ensuring SM calendars (internal / external posts) are created in advance by project owners and shared one week in advance every week -Managing SM calendars and ensuring posts are being published on time for PR, b2c and b2b sectors -Ensuring team plans out in advance and are in line with each other as one team -Ensuring social media monitoring is done on a daily basis -Ensuring social media fake accounts monitoring is taking place every month -Ensuring all information / papers are documented via email and shared drive -Ensuring internal communication is emphasized throughout the company via staff activities and initiatives -Increasing awareness of stc in the market by pushing external activities and initiatives -Highlighting stc's CSR role in the market by ensuring it has a big piece of the market pie -Ensuring branding is applied efficiently within PR / SM. -Liaising with stc group on group initiatives -Building and maintaining strong relations with government entities -Focusing on strategic CSR direction set my management -Ensure alignment between budget and tasks based on set strategy -Ensure all tasks go through the system to avoid penalties and ensure processes being followed -Ability to speak publicly in events, conferences and social media channels. People Management Responsibilities -Ensuring staff initiatives are results-driven and aware of corporate KPIs -Encouraging teamwork and abiding by company values -Giving feedback constantly to increase and improve performance level -Supervising team members ensuring they are following timelines and avoiding mistakes and penalties -Managing projects to ensure they are executed properly by staff members -Encouraging the team to take the extra mile when working on tasks -Encouraging the team to follow internal processes and rules Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Language Skills Fluent English and Arabic skills (written and spoken) required.
