About the role

As the Manager, Public Relations - Marine & Waterpark, CSR, Education and Sustainability, you will be a vital part of the department in driving the brands' overall PR strategy in support of the brands' sustainability and CSR initiative Atlantis Atlas Project, and the Marine & Waterpark operation.

This role will involve working closely with the PR Director and Director of CSR, Education and Sustainability. The PR Manager will generate qualitative visibility for Atlantis Atlas Project and Marine & Waterpark operation globally. The role will require strategic PR support across all CSR, sustainability, and education initiatives, as well as the full Marine & Waterpark operation including the world's biggest waterpark, Aquaventure, the largest open-air aquarium in the region, The Lost Chambers, Dolphin Bay, and Sea Lion Point.

You will be responsible for building, creating, promoting, and amplifying sustainable practices within the resorts we operate in, support the brands' endeavors to be a leader in responsible tourism, ensuring that we stand above the rest, whilst providing guest experiences which are more extraordinary than ever. You will also provide strategic direction and implementation of PR campaigns for Atlantis Atlas Project, including the tactical use and engagement of traditional media, broadcast, influencers, celebrities, content creators and partners. In addition, the role will include developing the PR strategy to support the five-year expansion of Aquaventure waterpark.

About you

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years' experience working in communications, corporate communications (in-house, in government, media company or at a PR agency). Having prior experience in a theme park, waterpark or within marine conservation is preferred.

You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, have a passion for CSR, education, and sustainability, as well as marine conservation and animal welfare. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, and have the ability to manage sensitive PR issues.
