Job Purpose: To develop and grow long-term profitable relationships with local/international entities under project finance/ structured/syndication financing and manage existing portfolio effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
Deepening existing relationships and monitoring the credit risk associated with the portfolio, within the operating and strategic plans and in accordance with credit guidelines
Planning and implementing sales activities on the customer portfolio to grow their value and return to the Bank
Making use of relationship management to retain valuable customers and win new business
To review and perform thorough analysis of external research reports to validate assumptions utilized in project finance feasibility studies and project finance financial models, including conducting stress testing and scenario analysis;
To evaluate and prepare Info Memos, Term sheets, offering documents for all transactions under project finance and structured finance;
To liaise with internal parties and external consultants for the completion of project finance/ syndication documentation;
To prepare internal approval memos and managing the approval process for transactions;
To manage project finance and syndicated financing portfolio; and
To provide regular updates to the management on the progress of the transaction and any deviation from original approvals

Required Qualification
Minimum Bachelor degree in a related discipline (including engineering).
Any professional certification or post-graduate qualification such as CFA, MBA or ACCA would be an added advantage.
Minimum of 8 years of banking experience with accredited certifications and experience in corporate banking sales, credit risk analysis, structuring of credit lines and financial modelling.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Islamic banking and/or finance, or demonstrated adequate knowledge of Islamic financing structures related to project finance and syndications.
