MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To deliver and ensure the IT platform available to the business is consistent and reliable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensures the daily maintenance of the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s IT infrastructure, System & other technology platforms

2. Maintains and manages FZ data centre facilities

3. Oversees the 24x7 network operation centre for proactive real-time monitoring and event management

4. Performs first and second level (L1, L2) technical support on all incidents and problem tickets

5. Builds and maintains IT Asset Management system for full visibility and up-to-date configuration management database

6. Develops and implements operational procedures, processes, and standards for the IT platform.

7. Ensures the IT platform is secure and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.

8. Conducts and participates in Disaster recovery drills to meet defined RTO-RPOs.

9. Performs daily back-up and restores operations to preserve the company data and integrity.

10. Partners with Cyber Security Operation team to detect and mitigate risks and threats in timely manner.

11. Escalates and involves specialist team (L3 Support) for timely resolution.

12. Ensures 100% patch compliance across all the IT systems.

13. Conducts periodic audit to ensure IT system performance and efficiency.

14. Monitors the performance of the IT platform and ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met

15. Assists project team to meet key milestone deliverables.

16. Acts and ensures smooth service transition and knowledge transfer on all new business initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience Specific Requirements

Experience & proficient in installing, configuring, and maintaining IT systems and equipment\xe2\x80\x99s

Proven experience in directing & handling IT operations

Experience in managing teams of technicians, system engineers and other IT staff

Well verse in understanding and following the standards (Cobit, ITIL or ITSM)

Experience in handling disaster recovery situation

Preferred No. of Years (with Masters Degree) - 12

Preferred No. of Years (without Bachelors Degree) \xe2\x80\x93 14

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
