Job Description

We are looking for a Manager- IT Applications for a client in Dubai Requirements:

  • Working closely with both the business and the IT department to maintain the effectiveness of current services. Identify potential areas for service improvement
  • Coordinate service life-cycle processes, including the transition of new services into production, as well as helping to identify potential new services based on business input
  • Agree on acceptable SLA's with the business, monitoring and reporting on those service levels and escalating when service levels aren't met
  • Act as a point of contact to facilitate effective communication and mutual understanding between business associates and IT associates
  • Coordinate engagement and convergence between business customers, software vendors and IT related to service performance, incident/problem resolution and scope management
  • Lead service review meetings
  • Provides critical triage, escalation and single point of contact assistance for users
  • The effective management of service requests, ensuring that requests are prioritized, escalated and resolved in the most appropriate manner
  • Take the lead on major incident resolution and communication; point of escalation for application and customer-service issues
  • Work with, and get appropriate response from, application suppliers and the outsourced Tier 1 help desk
  • Serves as a backup to application support staff
  • Ensure all technical and non-technical documentation is up-to-date. Accountable for the accuracy of configuration items and documentation relating to the application services
  • Work with developers on transitioning applications from development to production. Including documentation and communication of release notes
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 10 -15 years ERP application Support Management experience
  • Strong knowledge of relevant software computer applications and equipment
  • Exceptional customer service skills and phone etiquette
  • Demonstrated organizational, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and successfully manage multiple tasks at one time
  • Solid ability to proactively identify issues and efficiencies and implement solutions
  • Ability to perform all job duties while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Have good knowledge in NetSuite, Fusion, Yardi, Web development.
  • Have a Real Estate background.
