Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically sound Manager to lead our Abu Dhabi operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in transformer and substation services, a strong client network in the UAE (especially with utilities like TRANSCO, EWEC, ADWEA), and proven capabilities in managing field teams, execution schedules, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and expand AMEC's service operations in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, the surrounding Emirates, and ADNOC Offshore and Onshore Coordinate maintenance and testing activities. Oversee substation and power plant maintenance and Testing. Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders and direct client enquiries. Ensure compliance with HSE, ISO, and local utility standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors. Manage technical team scheduling, mobilization, logistics, and reporting. Identify new business opportunities and drive regional growth.

Education

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (Master's is a plus)

Experience

10+ years in HV/LV electrical services with UAE/regional exposure

Technical Skills

Transformer maintenance and testing.

Familiarity

TRANSCO, SEWA, DEWA, Etihad WE requirements and safety procedures

Certifications

DEWA/TRANSCO/SEWA approvals preferred

Languages

Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus

Other

Valid UAE Driving License
