Role Purpose:
To provide specialist support and value-added insight with regards to external market intelligence of both new and existing markets, plus responsibility for ongoing pricing support and governance for existing projects. The role will be responsible for the detailed analysis of the external market, and then to partner with leadership to identify opportunities to create value both within existing projects and potential new markets investments. Building on these insights the role will partner with project heads and the Business Development team to develop the commercial strategy to support and maximize value from these opportunities. The position will be responsible for the day-to-day pricing and commercial terms for existing inventory and new launches, to improve governance and maximize the return on investment
Role Details \xe2\x80\x93 Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Market Intelligence
Monitor macro property market trends in core markets, identifying insights and opportunities
Monitor and analyse competitor launch activity including product, positioning, pricing and
commercial terms
Benchmark and analyse existing project performance against competition
Analyse customer demographics and behaviours to inform product development and sales
strategy
Monitor secondary market performance of MAF projects
Provide regular briefs to leadership team on market trends, insights, and opportunities
Pricing & Commercial Support
Detailed pricing support for all live projects including new launches and resale inventory
Create channel strategies, along with supporting broker, ambassador and referral scheme
incentives and terms
Partner with project heads on commercial strategy and implementation for new project and
business launches
Provide input to feasibility studies on positioning, unit mix, pricing, commercial terms,
absorption and launch strategy
Develop and implement long term pricing strategies, payment plans and incentive schemes
Monitor and analyze cost of sales, making recommendations to increase efficiency
Develop, implement and oversee internal commission structures with Human Capital
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of the MENA region with deep experience in property development and
real estate sector
Very strong strategic thinker with understanding of industry dynamics across multiple sectors
Strong financial knowledge, and understanding of financial investment principles
5+ years of experience in a similar role, i.e. major property developer or management consultant
An MBA, or an equivalent degree e.g. Master of Strategic Management, from an international
top ranked university
Very strong analytical skills, an independent problem solver and strong commercial acumen
Strong communication skills and persuasion skills to influence top management and shareholder
decision-making process
Leadership skills to manage team of talented professionals towards time-constrained goals
Good project management skills and capacity to multi-task
Knowledge and professional network within the MENA region highly preferable (greater than 5
years)
Bilingual candidate preferred (Arabic and English
