Job Description

The Role Responsibilities
  • The Credit Cards business in Standard Chartered Bank UAE is a growing business line with core focus on customer growth and customer value proposition.
  • This role will work with the Business Head to identify opportunities for customer growth, work with partners for the execution of the defined customer acquisition strategy and sign-up alliances for better offers and card benefits for our customers.
  • This role will require working extensively with sales agencies and prominent merchants in UAE.
Strategy

This role will be responsible for:
  • Execution of the third-party sales process and to ensure that the framework is being followed in line with the design.
  • Build credit card merchant alliances to offer better value to the customers - this will involve reaching out to relevant merchants, finalize the construct of the agreement and onboard these alliances in line with the internal processes.
Business

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Deployment of required headcount across sales channels
  • Maintaining the sales productivity at an acceptable level
  • Expected product mix for new credit cards acquisition
  • Periodic review of the payout structure to ensure that it is in line with the business strategy
  • Sales governance, ensure that sales do\xe2\x80\x99s and don\xe2\x80\x99ts are being followed
  • Work with sales partners to identify additional opportunities
  • Identify, onboard, grow, drive profitability with third party sales channels.
  • Assess all TPSAs to ensure required standards are met, including tactical measures to expand , contract, offboard agencies
  • Constantly evolve KPIs that are aligned to strategic business objectives
  • Identify list of companies where TPS can source business from and continuously find ways that open opportunities for acquisition
  • Establish avenues for profitable alliances that can help balance build
  • Sign up new merchant alliances and renewal of existing offers in line with the business strategy
  • Work with Marketing and Product to promote credit card offers to customer base & prospects
  • Management of feedback / issues / complaints from sales and merchant offers perspective
Processes
  • Responsible for executing the third-party sales process and ensure that the framework is being used in line with the design. Our Ideal Candidate
  • University Graduate
  • Relevant experience in sales and relationship management, merchant alliances
  • Demonstrated ability in sales management
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes
  • Networking ability to manage interdepartmental deliverables
  • Strong inter-personal skills and leadership ability, which encourages and promotes enthusiasm and team spirit
  • Good understanding of the business environment in UAE preferably with direct contacts with reputed merchants
  • Computer literacy at the user level.
