Job Purpose

Plan, develop and drive marketing and brand strategies for the ENOC Group. Responsible for the implementation of integrated marketing communications plans that leverage these strategies and platforms. Safeguard the ENOC brand image and ensure all marketing business communications are in line with ENOC\'s brand and corporate strategy. Responsible to develop & ensure the alignment of brand positioning and messaging. Serves as the primary brand point person and develops and coordinates the overall brand plan, while ensuring brand alignment of all initiatives.

Principal Accountabilities

The key accountabilities of the role fall under the following 3 classifications: Brand Strategy, Brand Advisory and Guardianship and Brand Building.

Brand Strategy:
  • Evaluate, review and redevelop when necessary of current brand framework that includes, but is not limited to:
o Brand Positioning
o Brand Tonality
o Brand Messaging (Internal/External)
o Mission Statement
o Vision Statement
o Strategic Goals
o Corporate Value

By receiving inputs from Business Planning and Performance Management, Business Continuity, Business Segments and Leadership team.
  • Work with the Group Communications Senior Manager in the development and implementation of the ENOC strategy; ensure the right marketing mix to drive brand value and growth.
  • Participate in teams and works cross-functionally to integrate all plans and strategies and ensure strategic alignment.
  • Develop and execute the brand and marketing strategy across all touch points - whether it is the maintenance of the existing brand or the launch of a new product.
  • Periodically evaluate, asses implemented strategies and present changes.
Additional Principal Accountabilities
  • Brand Architecture and Endorsement Line Strategy:
o Evaluate the structure of brands within ENOC group, how the corporate brand and sub-brands or new brand relate to and support each other.
o Ensure the implementation of the brand architecture across the group.
o Annually review and assess the implementation on brand architecture to ensure alignment and consistency across the businesses.

Brand Advisory and Guardianship:
  • Brand Audit: Conduct brand audits annually to:
o Confirm adherence by group companies to the ENOC Brand.
o Reveal new growth opportunities for ENOC brand, and new ways to make the brand resonate with both existing and a new generation of target customers.
o Review and asses brand guidelines annually to ensure that all parties use the brand elements consistently with brand names, logos, typefaces and other design elements in advertisements, brochures, newsletters, packaging and online communications.
o Secure and grow the value of brand/business through consistent implementation of recommendations derived from brand audit findings.
  • Brand Guidance:
o Raise brand equity and insure brand consistency by working closely with Group Communications Function Heads:

\xef\x83\x98 Creative Manager to ensure that the team is abiding by the guidelines and all branding elements are used consistently
\xef\x83\x98 Event Manager to ensure all events/activities are branded accordingly
\xef\x83\x98 Digital Manager to ensure that all internal/external communication platforms fall under the corporate branding
\xef\x83\x98 Market Research Manager to ensure that multiple market research studies are conducted and analyze ENOC\'s brand positioning, research consumer markets and competitors\' activities to identify opportunities and key issues

Experience
  • Minimum Educational, Professional and Vocational qualifications required:
  • A university graduate, preferably in Mass Communications, Advertising or Marketing
  • Sound knowledge of office automation products (MS office)
  • Works on graphic design programs (Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator)
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Minimum years of relevant work experience: 5 to 7 years
  • Level and type of behavioural and functional competencies required
  • Spoken/written skills in English/Arabic
  • Communication and negotiation

  • Ability to travel
