The Manager for Field Engineering and Quality Assurance in our Automotive Aftersales division will be responsible for ensuring all branches are comply with Nissan field engineering guidelines.
This role involves improving technician write-ups, assuring repair quality.
Additionally, this role includes overseeing warranty procedures, conducting field visits, and working closely with the Customer Service department to improve and achieve F1 targets.
Financial Target achievement
Drive financial performance by meeting KPIs related to field engineering activities, including technician write-ups, quality of repair works, and CS target pertaining to F1.
Strategic Implementation
Implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the technical departments.
Monitor and improve technician write-ups across branches.
Provide diagnostic support to workshops and participate in the recruitment and development of high-quality technicians.
Having exposure to EV vehicle working principles and maintenance .
Lead regular technical meetings and maintain principal correspondence.
Business Development
Drive improvements in workshop quality, focusing on achieving high F1 scores.
Maintain regular communication with branch workshops to ensure they are kept updated with ongoing changes and enhancements.
Customer Journey
Enhance customer experience by improving communication and engagement across all touchpoints.
Provide support to service advisors in improving the quality of voice of customer (VOC) capturing.
Stakeholder Management
Review warranty process and procedures at branches and warranty operations enhancement at branches.
Review Technician\'s Clocking, write up and improve.
Monitor warranty pre-authorization responses from NMEF and manage warranty claims and trend analysis.
Technical Activities
Engage in the evaluation and inspection of product quality.
Facilitate and conduct comprehensive and high-standard interviews within AAC.
Ensure all workshops are outfitted with the requisite tools for executing high-quality work.
Learning & Growth
Having regular meetings with branches and continuously updating them with Technical developments and updates.
Policies, Procedures
Regularly conduct assessments of repair orders and confirm adherence to WPPM standards.
Implement quality control processes and procedures.
Handle warranty claims in accordance with Nissan\'s policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in mechanical engineering
Relevant certifications/Specializations in both EV and ICE verticals in automotive field.
Specialization in both EV and ICE verticals in automotive field.
Detailed knowledge of the Gulf market.
Strong relationship building and networking with customers, business partners and principle.
Proven planning, analytical, problem-solving, management, and team-building skills
