This person is responsible for leading a team of Account Managers (AMs) to ensure client retention, drive organic growth (upsells/cross-sells), and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Role Summary





The Manager of Account Management will oversee a team dedicated to nurturing and expanding our existing client base. You will be responsible for the team's performance, coaching AMs on relationship-building strategies, and ensuring that our customers achieve their desired outcomes. Your goal is to minimize churn and maximize the

Lifetime Value (LTV)

of every account.

Key Responsibilities



1. Team Leadership & Coaching



Mentor and Develop:

Provide regular 1-on-1 coaching to Account Managers to improve their negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.

Performance Management:

Set clear KPIs and targets; conduct performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.

Resource Allocation:

Manage account assignments to ensure balanced workloads across the team.

2. Strategic Growth & Retention



Renewal Strategy:

Oversee the renewal pipeline to ensure high retention rates and early identification of "at-risk" accounts.

Expansion Sales:

Drive strategy for upselling and cross-selling new products or features to existing clients.

Account Planning:

Help AMs develop long-term strategic plans for "Tier 1" or enterprise-level clients.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration



Voice of the Customer:

Act as a bridge between clients and the Product team to advocate for features that drive retention.

Sales Alignment:

Work closely with the New Business/Sales team to ensure a seamless handoff from "closed-won" to "active account."

Executive Escalation:

Serve as a senior point of contact for high-value clients during critical issues or complex negotiations.
